Delaware Water Gap

The Delaware Water Gap is one of New Jersey's most scenic locations, located in the northwest of the state where the Delaware River cuts through a ridge of the Appalachian Mountains. The best views can be found at Mount Tammany, which can be accessed from a short, steep trail right off I-80. Make sure you get there early because the parking lots fill up quick and once they're full you'll have to either find somewhere else to visit (Mount Minsi is right on the other side of the river in Pennsylvania) or risk getting a ticket parking on the side of the road.
